Top price on the day of €1500gns went to Liam and Eamon Walsh (Ballybrooney). This was for a full sister of the 4th prized shearling ewe in the All Ireland Championships, she is a Tullagh Neptune daughter carrying a single lamb to Castelscreen O.J. she was bought by new breeder Edward McCarty. The highest price of €1400gns also came from the Walsh’s pen she was sired by Ballybrooney New and inlamb to Tullagh Neptune, She sold to Eric Campbell.
The next highest price of €1200gns came from Ellen Baileys (Baileys) pen, This one was a daughter of Forkins Nijinsky and inlamb to Teiglum Magnum selling to Pat Farrell. Joe Byrne paid €1100gns for another daughter of Forkins Nijinsky and inlamb to Teiglum Magnum.
The Baileys flock also sold two more at €1000gns each coming the same way bred as the above these were snapped up by George Prendergast and Pat Farrell.
The next highest price at €1050gns came from Padraic Niland (Chessy) this was for a daughter of Baileys Master Class and inlamb to Tullagh Neptune. The Chessy flock also sold another at €950gns for a for daughter of Tullagh Neptune and inlamb to Livery Prince Jim.
Also at this money was one from Anne Murphy’s (Foundry) pen this was for a daughter of Springwell Nik-Nak she was carrying twins to Ballyhivistock Prince Charming and sold Liam Dillon.
