Minister Brendan Smith took time out from his busy schedule to launch the Irish Texels new website and re-branding at the National Ploughing Championships this week at Athy.

The new Irish Texel Society website is now live and as you can see it is quite a transformation from our previous site! More and more farmers are doing business online - from keeping up to date with news and regulations, to sourcing breed information and connecting with other farmers - so we felt it was time to refresh our online image. Naturally we wanted a website which was accessible and useful to members and potential members, and which provided a wealth of useful information. We also looked for a design which reinforced and showcased the attributes of the Texel itself. The result is a lean, clean design with striking photography and easy to find information all put together in one unique package by Agri Images.co.uk.

We will regularly add to the information and features on this new website so keep checking back to make sure you are up to date with all the latest news, views and events from the Irish Texel Society.
