All Ireland Showing Championship this weekend in Wexford

Pedigree Irish Texel sheep breeders will be flocking to the model county, Wexford this weekend, Saturday the 17th of June, to attend the Gorey Agricultural show.

The Irish Texel sheep society are holding this year’s All Ireland at the very successful south eastern location in North Wexford.
Entrants from across our Nation will travel to Wexford to be in contention to win many Irish Texel classes and the most sought after award; The Irish Texel All Ireland Showing Championship Overall winner.

The society has received over 200 entries over the past number of weeks.

As the level of competition rises so too does the standard of sheep and the amount of skilled Irish Texel sheep breeders in Ireland. The Gorey Agricultural Show is in its 158th year this year and the show is taking place at the picturesque location of Clonattin, Gorey, Co. Wexford.
